Our Thrift Store: Better Than Ever!
It's Our Biggest Source of Funding for the Animals

Print this Sundays 20% discount coupon. Good Sundays through the end of June 2009.

Shop at our Thrift Store, 920 3rd Street (corner of Third and I Street) in Davis, (530) 758-0544.

The thrift shop is open 7 days a week. We have now moved to our Summer Hours:

Mon - Sat: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Sundays: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Drop off Donations *In case of bad weather please call first as our donation times may change for that day.

Mon - Sat: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Sun: 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

There is parking and attendants out back who can help you unload your donations and give you a tax receipt. Please only bring donations during the hours listed above. Feel free to ask attendants for help unloading donations if needed.

Here are some items we cannot accept as donations.

We are proud to partner with these businesses:
  • Markess Export Company, Sacramento, CA
  • California Clothing Recyclers, Sacramento, CA
  • French Cuff Consignment, Sacramento, CA
  • Davis Gold & Silver Exchange, Davis, CA
Where do your thrift shop donations go? While the majority of donations get priced and make their way onto our shelves and racks, a small percentage get donated back into other parts of the community.
  • Salvation Army takes items that we may have too much of or that we are unable to sell.
  • Pacifico Student Housing received a generous donation of plates and dishes last summer.
  • Families First (group home for young boys) is eager to receive YSPCA's excess household items and sporting goods.
  • Clothing items that we cannot sell are sold to clothing recyclers - the money from that sale goes to the animals.
Again, Thank You For Your Support.

Your Yolo County SPCA Thrift Store is expanding and growing!
We’re very excited about our newly acquired space; the store is in the process of expanding into over 800 square feet of space vacated by our former neighbor, the Davis Muffler Shop. Part of the move has already been accomplished. We are now accepting and processing donation under cover. We still have more space available that we will be using for badly needed storage and office space. Scroll down to see our books, glassware and music!
