Winston
Although he didn't know his name when I adopted him, I decided to keep the name Winston because I thought it was perfect for him. Winston has blossomed to quite a wonderful dog. Nothing brings me more joy than seeing him wiggle and greeting me at the door with a toy.

He has also made fast friends with my sister's dog Steve, an elder grumpy Chihuahua mix who usually detests other dogs. When Steve visits, the two usually like to spend their time snuggling! (even thought there are two beds, they insist on sleeping together).

Winston is so well behaved, he's never had an accident and he never barks, just an occasional growl when he suspects I'm in danger or someone is trying to harm me (so silly!). He's learned a few commands and even protects me from spiders! He catches them with his mouth and spits them out. He loves his toys but he doesn't pester for constant play, after a few throws, he's over it.

Winston is just wonderful and I can't believe how lucky I have been. He goes almost everywhere with me. He's such a snuggler and he figures: the closer the better! Thank you so much for this wonderful dog and all of your work giving deserving pets good homes.
