Calie (used to be called Carmen)

We adopted Calie on December 4. I knew she was to be our new dog the minute I set eyes on her. She is a beautiful girl and very well mannered. She has adjusted well to living with us.

Calie

She is still very needy after her traumatic experience of being dumped off, but we give her the love she needs to feel secure. She is the quietest dog, only barks when someone comes to the door or she hers a strange noise. She loves to bounce from one sofa to the other. I finally gave up keeping her off the sofa as she loves to survey her "world" from there.

For the most part she is very well mannered and obeys my commands. She is very smart as she learned her new name in one day. She has adapted well to other animals coming around. She is the only dog but has to get along with a Guinea Pig and Lovebird (the bird put her in her place pretty quickly). Calie is a keeper!!
