I just wanted to follow up with you regarding Ava. My husband and I adopted her a little over a week ago at the Petco in Davis.

She had a little trouble at first adjusting to our dog and she had a few incidents where she attacked him. We were a little worried about that but hoped that they two of them would eventually get along. She seemed to be very protective of her food and got a little jealous around our other dog, but she seems be be doing MUCH better now.

The two of them have been playing more and even snuggling up together. We got her a bed of her own and a food bowl of her own (although, she likes to curl up on our bed!)

We figured it would take her some time to get used to her new home and I think she is doing much better. I attached some pics of her. I will keep you posted and will send more pics.
