Obtain a Dog License

By law, all dogs and puppies must be licensed.
This applies to all dogs living within Yolo County, regardless of whether they reside in a city or in an unincorporated area of the county. Dogs entering the county have 10 days to be licensed. If the dog is licensed in another county of California, the license must be transferred to a Yolo County license within 10 days.

You can go to either of these locations to obtain a license, but you MUST bring proof of rabies vaccination. Also, if your animal is neutered, bring proof of that as well.
